Preview and Contest!!

Our next meeting theme is Snack Shack(December 4th). Teri Pasterino will be speaking to us about "Quick Meal Ideas". She also has a collection of great recipe resources for us (I'll post below). There will also be lots of other great food and moneysaving ideas.
In our house the biggest food related issue is snacks, my kids want to snack all day long but when it comes time to a meal they aren't hungry sooo I try to make sure that at least their snacks are healthy.
Post your kid's favorite healthy snack or your most creative healthy kid snack (just make a comment on this post), be sure to include your first name and last initial so we know who to give the prize to. Everyone who posts will be entered in a drawing for something fun!
Here are those great rescorces from Teri:

My kids love yogurt covered bananas - just put a popsicle stick through a peeled banana, dip it in yogurt, place them on a sheet of wax paper, add sprinkles and freeze. They're healthy and they LOVE them!!

We cut up bananas and put it in pudding or yogurt to get our fruit in for the day. Also, we do lots of apples and peanut butter
